RadioShack 12V/50mA Incandescent Bulb - successfully soldered these into a 2000 Silverado radio. It is not as easy as some might imply. The circuit board is cheap and you have to be careful about lifting the pads off the board. If you don't have much or any experience removing/soldering components on a printed circuit board, you might want to find somone with experience.

no but do u know how to remove the face so u can replace the bulbs?
I have an 04 GMC Sierra. The radio is stock, and all of the backlighting is burned out. I have checked the radio fuses, just as a precaution, and of course they are fine. I am going to try replacing the bulbs in the radio, but I don't know how to remove the face plate properly, or where to get the bulbs. Can anyone help?
