Back door child proof lock is on and door won't close. Drained my battery because of this. How can I fix it. It won't work either with inside handle or outside. This in on the driver's side. The passenger side hasn't unlocked in years! It's stuck too.

yes it will if the year model and body style are the same and it dose not have to be the exact same year model i would find out which years fit your sisters car you can call most good body shops and they can tell you or call you local Chevy dealer to find out what years will fit

Regarding the rear door child locks: There is a small lever on the latch side of the door, you can only see it with the door open. Move it to the other position.
Regarding the front door locks: You either have a bad door lock switch, or the power lock solenoids are beginning to fail. To check this, you will need to pull the door panels off, & measure the actual voltage at the solenoids whilst manipulating the lock switch. If you have 12 + VDC, I would suggest replacing the door lock solenoids. Not hard to change, but it IS time consuming. Best left to a dealer. Expect to pay 1 hour per side to change each solenoid.

kind of hard but it can be done but what probly happen is that the child lock is hafe and hafe not ingaged or disangeged so it's stuck
