SOURCE: Replaced water pump, alternator, radiator, crank
Inside the coolant reserve tank there is a sensor for coolant level.
Over time, this sensor can get stick.
Inspect the coolant reserve tank for crack or leak.
Locate the coolant level switch/sensor and soak it in clean warm water.
Make sure it's free to move up and down the float path.
Top off the coolant tank with coolant only.
SOURCE: Engine gets hot and blows out coolant at the
Has it ever been ran with no coolant in it too the point of extreme over heating? Could be a cracked er if it was head, cracks in the valve seats. have you checked it with a radiator pressure tester? Wonder if after purchased new, if the head and other parts were retorgued by service department. Probably an issue that would be hard to validate. How about the radiator fins and the also the airconditioning radiator in front of the engine radiator. May be full of road junk, like bugs, grass, leaves.
