WHEN I START MY CAR THERE IS A CLICKING NOISE THAT COMES FROM BEHIND THE GLOVE BOX FOR ABOUT 10 SECONDS,BUT EVERYTHING SEEMS TO WORK FINE.
SOURCE: How to I replace the cabin air filter in my 2008 MC C300
Remove the three torx screws using a torx-20 screwdriver...pull back the padding in the footwell...there is tab holding the left part of the plastic piece, use a flat-head screwdriver
to pop it out...you may need to disconnect the light connector, and the cigarette lighter connection.. Once the plastic piece is out, you will see a large white box, the filter is
inside this box. There are two yellow clips that need to be slided to the
left/right. The box then pops out from below and the folded-filter will fall
right out
Good luck..i hope this helps..please rate me a fixya.

This Clicking Noise Is Normal I Drove Myself Crazy On The Same Clicking Sound I Was Ripping Off Panels In The Middle Of The Desert lol. Anyways Its Not It Try Checking Your Starter. Does The Engine Crank At All? If I t Just Goes Click Real Loud It Would Be A Good Indication Its Your Starter. Also Does It Start Sometimes? Or Did It?

Sure the culprit is in the HVAC system. The cover under the glove box needes to be removed to look and see theres a relay panel and motors that move the air doors inside the duct work the motors are on the out side and can be diffacult to change so even if your going to hire the work done it might be nice to look first so you'll know if your talking to a person that should do this work for you Quizzing the professional sales person at your local auto parts store you'll find the person that they know that buys the parts that fix these things if he buys lots of this kind of part that shop is likly to have a person that can go right to it and fix it cheap and quicker than someone puzzeling over the repair manuel and trying difference things with your money

HVAC actuator. Likely the HVAC Recirculate Actuator. Very easy to replace. All over YouTube how to do it.
