I go to start the car and the dash board reads that the ignition as been disabled due to the anti theft system in the car. Also a "Security" light keeps flashing. I tried disconnecting the battery and relpacing the fuse that powers the anti theft system and nothing works the car will not start. I do not have any aftermarket theft system at all. Is there a way to bypass this or disarm it?
I just had this same problem with a '96 . do you have a vats key in your '94? you need to bypass the VATS system. read some of the blogs on this site and it will tell you how to do it. I fixed mine with a $2 resistor from radio shack.
