You may have bad bearings in the blower motor. When the car turns, inertia moves the armature to where is not binding momentarily. If so, replace the blower motor. Ask parts store for a remanufactured unit. Dorman makes good aftermarket parts.

SOURCE: daytime running lights override all other lights

Check and see if all your high and low beam bulbs work, if one is burned out that will cause problems. Then check the DRL resistor that is located in front of the drivers front tire below the headlamp. It will most likely be in two or more pieces and need to be replaced. Go see a saturn dealer and tell them you need the DRL resistor they should know exactly what you need.

SOURCE: i have a 2003 saturn vue 6 cylinder. my service engine soon light

From the looks of it this is a very common problem with the 2002-2003 saturn vue. There was a Technical Service Bulletin from saturn about the problem, which means it happens alot but not quite enough to warrant a recall.

You need to replace your thermostat and it is a pain to do, the dealership will charge you about 2 hours flat rate to put it in.

Its not a huge deal to get it replaced right away, but the computer depends on the vehicle being a certain temperature and if it isn't then your performance/emissions will suffer.

SOURCE: I own a 2006 L 300 Saturn and intermittently the

well it sounds like a normal 6 cylinder L-series issue,,,the pressure control solenoid inside the transmission goes bad and causes a very hard shift and turns on the light,,,,,, it sets a p1780 code,,,,,you need to replace that solenoid,,,,this is not a do it yourself at home job,,,,,must go to the dealer,,,the trans flush and fill did not having anything to do with this issue,,,,,its a common issue for the 6 cylinder L,,,the 4 cylinder never did this ,just the 6,,,,,probably like at least a $500 or more repair,,parts not much but alot of labor to get to the solenoid,,,,,i rec take to dealer

2005 ford focus revs up high and heater not hot

It may be a vacuum leak. Some vehicles use engine vacuum to operate heater controls. A leak would cause the controls to malfunction and also increase engine idle. Check all the vacuum hoses for damagedvor unplugged ends. Hope this helps.

I have a 1992 gmc sierra with a 350 rocket 5.7L automatic 4x4 truck. I just replaced the thermostat and made sure the anti freeze was full. But it still won't throw heat. And after I replaced the...

It's running cooler because the thermostat is opening too soon. As far as the heat goes, let it warm up to operating temperature, turn on the heat full blast and feel the temperature of the hoses going to the core.
1- both cool- engine not reaching operating temperature or the system needs to be bled of air
2- one noticeably cooler than the other- clogged core; you could try backflushing, or replace it.
3- both equally hot to the touch, where you can barely touch them- everything is good on the liquid end- look at your blend door in the heater box.

My 2002 saturn sl1 is weakly blowing luke warm air out when i have my heat at its hottest setting and my fan at full blast.

the best way to find out if the problem is in the cabin or under the hood is to touch the heater hoses when the motor is at operating temperature. turn on the heat full blast and feel the hoses; if they are both almost too hot to touch then the problem is with your blend door or its control mechanism. if one is noticeably cooler than the other then you,ve got a clogged heater core. if they are both cool enough to touch then your motor is running too cool

I have a 2011 Nissan Rogue and the heater is barely lukewarm at full blast. I just bought it yesterday. Do you know what the problem is?

Sounds like the thermostat is missing. May have been taken out because it was faulty. Replace with a new one.

Air compressor on my 1998 Oldmobile Intrigue goes off and on. Tried to put more freon in, but still the compressor kicks off and on. Do I need a new compressor?

NO! Your AIR CONDITTIONER COMPRESSOR, (not air compressor these are two completely different things,) needs to turn off now and then. If it ran all the time motor, lines, would freeze. Think of it as a refridgitor. Your fridge doesn't run all the time, right? Only runs enough to get the air inside cooler to a certain temp. Your vechile AC system is the same way. Yes, sometimes it will run for a while with no breaks, but its close to it's set point it's not going to run full blast for an hour. It will also stop running if it's low on "freon" but you know that already.

AC rund at full blast even while turned off.

You need a blower motor resistor. This will take care of the problem. It is located behind the glove box. Pull it down, and you will see a plug going into the heater box. Two screws, and that is it.
