Headlight bulb


At night , Park on level ground approx. 6-8 feet away from a garage door, block wall... Somewhere you can see the level of your headlights. Under your hood , their should be screws, 1 controls vertical movement, & 1 controls horizontal movement. Some cars have a bubble level.... either way, turn each screw slowly to your desired placement. Then adjust the other too match. there are other ways. Wall, Plus Distance, Plus Tape on Wall, Intersect light to tape on wall

Sounds like you may have an air bubble in the master cylinder. The most effective way to deal with that is getting a master cylinder bleeder kit from your local parts store - make sure it has the metal clips that will hold the hoses in the master cylinder. Install line adapters after removing brake lines from the master. top up the fluid in the master and install hose clips, making sure the end of the hoses are in the brake fluid at least 1 inch. Slowly pump the brake pedal, making sure you bottom out the pedal and release SLOWLY so you don\'t suck air into the hoses - have a helper watch the fluid level in the master cylinder and the bubble production. The fluid level should not sink during this procedure - if it does, then you may have a faulty master cylinder. Pump until you have no more bubbles. If the bubbles don\'t stop, then you have a faulty master cylinder.

How do you adjust the clutch in a 2000 ford explorer US series?


Check the level of the fluid beneath the hood of the Ford Explorer. The reservoir is rather small, and is located near the firewall and the brake booster.Fill the reservoir to the proper level and pump the clutch pedal a few times to restore the pressure in the lines. If you find that the level in the reservoir does not stay the same, this may be an indication of a leak in the system. Check the reservoir, the slave cylinder (near the clutch housing) and the lines themselves, and repair or replace any faulty parts.
Bleed the system of any air bubbles. Using a tool like the Mityvac vacuum will help accomplish this task. Fill the pump bottle of the vacuum with fluid, and establish pressure in the tank. Open the cap on the master cylinder on Ford Explorer's master cylinder and insert the vacuum's tube.The vacuum sucks out old clutch fluid as well as any air bubbles that may have collected in the system. When you no longer see any air bubbles collecting in the pump bottle of the vacuum, you have successfully bled the clutch system.Replace the clutch every 105,000 miles.

On drivers side, Look for holes in rad support above headlights and you'll see a bubble level. Behind light housing you'll find small hex, or torx head screw just left and behind bubble level area. That's Horizontal adjustment. Now go over to right about 3 " from bubble level,just past where headlight mount is attached and look down hole for another hex, or torx screw head. That's vertical adjustment. Passenger side location will be obvious after finding drivers side adjustments.

SATURN USED A PRESSURE COOLANT SURGE TANK AND A INLET SIDE THERMOSTAT.THEY DONT HAVE BLEEDER SCREWS.YOU NEED LET CAR SET A LITTLE AT A TIME CRANK ENGINE FOR FEW MINUTES TURN OFF ENGINE.CHECK COOLANT LEVEL WHEN ENGINE SET LONG ENOUGH NOT TO SCALD YOU REMOVE PRESSURE CAP.ADD COOLANT TO SURGE TANK UNTIL LEVEL STAYS AT HOT FULL.WHEN COOLANT LEVEL QUIT DROPPING YOU HAVE THE RIGHT AMOUNT COOLANT.YOUR PRESSURE CAP COULD CAUSE OVER HEATING AND THE THERMOSTAT COULD BE BAD ALSO.

My power steering for 2002 chevy impala is not working is there any thing i can do to fix it... or is there air in the line or can i bleed it


Usually if there was air in the line the pump would make a a gurgling noise. Air in the line would not fully stop power assist. First check check the pump for proper fill level. Next look for leaks on the pump, hoses and the rack. No leaks move on to next procedure. If there is a leak id its location and replace the item as perscribed in the shop manual. if no leaks were found let the engine get to operating temperatures, shut the car off, open the power steering resovoir and look for foam and bubbles. If there visible, drain the fluid by whatever method the shop manual for this vehicle recommends then bleed it. If there was no bubbling or foaming refer to the shop manual for the correct tool and procedure for pressure checking the pump and the rack. If you at this stage unless your very mechanically inclined I would send it to a repair shop. Pressure checking can be a little dangerous. Good luck.

Headlamp Adjustment Alignment
  1. NOTE: All adjustments should be made with headlamps off and at room temperature.
    Prepare the vehicle for headlamp adjustment.
    • Place the vehicle on a level surface.
    • Before aligning the headlamps, check them for faulty lenses, reflectors and blackened bulbs, and install new components as necessary.
    • Check the tire pressures and correct as necessary. For additional information, refer to Section 204-04 .
    • The vehicle must be unloaded with the exception of a tool kit and spare tire. The fuel tank should be half full.
    • Bounce the vehicle several times both front and rear or roll it a few meters so that the suspension settles.
  1. Locate the headlight adjustment screws.

Steering wheel is very hard to turn. What could be the problem?


You are either low on fluid or have a return line leaking. Pull the cap off the reservoir and check the level and also if there are bubbles in the fluid. Bubbles indicate a leak in return line or seal.
