Laura, anytime a fuse is blowing that means that the power side of the circuit is shorting out against something that's metal, it also can be a part itself that's shorting out. This is a very time consuming issue to find and can wind up costing you an arm and a leg. Call me Al 314-374-5218. Shorts are very common but must be traced down on the circuit fuse that is blowing. You folks never learn, you can't use just any aftermarket sound system in these newer vehicles. The electronics are all networked together. I have no idea what you have damaged.

there should be a main fuse in-line from the battery. try checking that. if that is good, it might be the ignition switch.

Same problem with an '03 Golf--remote entry, power windows, and interior lights stopped working. This was easily fixed by replacing fuse #14, (10 amp), located in the driver's side fuse block.

Sounds like you need a new keyless entry box, but forst try resetting the computer, by taking the positive battery cable off for 10 mins.

If that does not work then seek geting the box for the keyless entry replaced.
