How do you open the hood of an AMC 76 Pacer? - Cars & Trucks

    I thought I read somewhere that the hood opens at the windshield side? But I'll try the flashlight and see what I can see.

Use a flash light shine it center front grille where hood is.look down center hood where grille is you should see small opening where your hand can fit through to open the hood latch.i remember most 70s cars you open hood from outside around front grille area.

    yep look at wind shield area where hood located next to windshield. or look at front grille area. i remember back mid 70s hood latches was located at wind shield area or front grille area center front of hood.
