I have a 2003 kia sorento that has great a/c most of the time. Occasionally it will start blowing warm air and the climate control degrees shown on the dash will start to become jumbled and unrecognizable. Never seen such a thing. Then after a day or two the a/c's fine and icy cold.

Sounds like the Idle Air Control Valve which is a dealer part.
