You have to remove the top of center console to access the radio. Open the center console box, there is a small tab at the front. Pull up on the tab, you will see 2 screws. Remove them. Look to see where the center console top fits under the radio. Check for more bolts...Pull up on the console, and pull it back. After the console top is out, you will see another fascia tab. Remove it. If my memory serves me correctly, the A/C control and the radio both come out at the same time. Remove the 2 side vents and then you will see the bolts that holds the radio assembly. Note that the vents are in there TIGHT, be careful when you pry them out, they may break.

Toyota Avalon 2004 radio do not work. It turns on but no sound. Some people say may be amp problem because speakers works.

The amp should have it's own inline fuse but if there is no sound it could also mean the radio has died or antenna is disconnected. Any stereo installation shop can find the problem without too much cost.

My Radio say SEC? I cant start radio

The sec displayed is security code in case radio is stolen it cant be used without entering the code. Owner may have disconnected battery and didnt put a memory saver in lighter outlet so it locked. If you go to dealer they can retrive the code for you then you enter code and radio should work.unless they changed the factory code. If not and code from dealer works keep in car or safe place so you have it. Usually no charge to do retrival at dealer takes 2 minutes. Hope this helps

Hi, Your belt is put on incorrectly that is why the power steering doesn't work. Try to redo it.
