2004 Saturn Ion - No Reverse lights

I have a 2004 ion and the reverse lights have stopped working. I have checked the bulb and the fuses and all seem fine. Any suggestions on what I should check next?

    Thanks, this worked, you were right it was the switch.

    Perfect! Same problem, but with a manual 2003 ION 2 (2.2L). What part number do I need?

    Revers light not working. Bulb and fuse are working fine.

The problem is most likely on the transmission range selector switch, this is on th top of the transmission and has a multi-wire connector going to it, a shaft goes through it and the trans shift cable is connected there.

After you disconnect the battery, you have to reset the security system. The immobilizer is stopping the car from starting.

there shoudlbe a sensor or two wires coming from the transmision two female ends two male ends , if the arent conected thats your problem , good luck

2004 saturn Ion both brake lights but the top brake light does, fuses work, bulbs are good. Everthing else light wise works

2004 Saturn Ion blinker problem!
Usually when the turnsignal blinks rapid this is a indicator that the turn signal bulbs is blown, you will need to check both the front and rear signal to see which is not working, and then change the blown bulb or bulbs.
