Your GM car or truck
has a relay to turn the fuel pump on and off. The fuel pump pulls
gasoline out of the tank and sends it to the engine. If the relay fails,
the pump won't come on and the engine won't start. Since many things
other than a bad fuel pump relay can cause a car to not start, you need
to remove it to test it properly. Look for your GM relay in the fuse box
under the hood that contains fuses and circuit breakers.
Open the hood of your vehicle
and find the relay. If your fuse panel isn't labeled, look in your
owner's manual for the specific location. With the ignition off, pull
the relay out of the socket. You might need to wiggle it a little to get
it loose.

It is located above the glove box. It is the second relay from the left. If you pick up the chilton manual at your local auto parts store you will see the location and have the testing procedures for it.

Under the hood next to the firewall is your multi-function box. It controls fuel and other things in your truck. You can pull your fuel supply line loose at the back of the injection rail and have someone turn the key on to see if you are getting fuel. If you are not, you will need test for power to the multi-function box and fuel pump. If you don't have a basic understanding of how to test for power to these components, my advice will not be much of an immediate help.

Your ECU is what acctivates your fuel pump realy. Put the key on the run possition and pull the ecu fuse for a few seconds and reinstall it ans it should accivate your realy for 5 seconds, Good luck.
It's under your hood, in one of those boxes, and should be marked. Your pump won't cut in if it's fried either. Check to see if there is power at the pump. Maybe you just have a loose wire. You can always hope!
