2004 saturn ion 3 quad coupe notice water stains above both rear door on headliner and water running down along sided of rear seats removed headliner and noticed one drain plug was not connected by sunroof drain plugs were clear no other spots except on headliner,could this have been the problem..dealer wants 200.00 just to remove liner

Code 26 is a soft fault code. You need to replace the egr solinoid and the ccp solinoid. The egr is on the valve cover, the ccp is on the back side of the block, under #3 intake runner.

there are clips holding the door panel around the edges. to remove the clips, use a small screwdriver to feel for them, then use another one to pull the panel on the other side. Pull outward from both sides of the clip until it comes loose. Do this repeatedly, and then loosen and remove the arm rest.

Pull the window up and have a helper hold it as you work it back into the track.

Remove windshield and rear window to do it properly. Headliner is actually crimped in between window gaskets and roof edge. Not a job for the faint at heart. If you don't know the string trick to get your gaskets in place you'll be working on it this time next year. Look on CJ Pony parts web site. They used to have a good tech article on headliner replacement. Hope this helps...

This happened to my car as well. I put the bulb in the other light and it worked find then I noticed that the socket was burned so I called about getting a replacement socket and was told that this was a common problem. I cut off the socket section from the part they sold me and spliced it on myself. Works fine now.
