So the right front blinker on my 2005 Chevy Venture won't work at all! I've tried replacing the bulb but that did no good. The left one will act up sometimes but it always returns to normal within a few days. The right one hasn't worked right in months. The light on the instrument panel flashes quickly like it does when the bulb is out but it still does that, even after I put a brand new bulb in it. The left one normally acts up after it's rained. Not sure if that has anything to do with it or not but I just figured i'd throw it in. The back blinker or the right works but the front one doesn't. Any ideas? I don't really want to have to take it to a dealership and shell out hundreds of bucks I don't have if it's something I can fix myself.
Typical problems like this are usually related to the turn signal switch, or the bulb. However, it is possible that you have a loose connection in your turn signal housing. I would check the housing and wiring going to the bulb, first!
IF you rule that out, then next step is turn signal switch. This will be replacement of the unit.
