2006 Subaru tribeca driver's side door will not open with the key or the key FOB. I have tried both OEM keys purchased with this car and although they will open/lock the other doors, the drivers side door is locked. We also can not unlock the door from inside the car even with using the manual "lock/unlock" mechanism. The door appears to be permanently locked. Iamberni at comcast net site

Not far fetched. The frequencies may bleed like a radio channel does when its not right on. Your two frequencies may be so close or one much stronger(other car) You should have it check before someone else notices it. Good luck

SOURCE: 2006 subaru B9 Tribeca Error 66

Hello, I know exactly what your talking about! and why no one else did... The error code is being displayed on your trip/odo LCD screen at the bottom of your right gauge pod if I remember correctly. Only, it\'s not Er 66... it\'s (Er bb) which is a malfunction with your vacuum pump system. I truly hope this is the same concern you are asking about, if so I am happy I could help. If it is a different problem please let me know so I can look into this matter further. I\'ve added an "error chart guide" so you will have proof this time when/if you decide to return to the dealer... Good luck!! and I hope this info helps...(subytech1)...143162913

SOURCE: subaru tribeca lights

DO NOT buy bulbs anywhere other than SUBARU as replacement. They are specifically long life bulbs. Yes, availlable in other brands in other stores and more cost efficient but not in the long run..

SOURCE: We have a 2009 Subaru Tribeca with 16,000 miles

Now I am really depressed. We thought we have a change from driving Honda and Toyota so we decided to buy a new 2009 Tribeca. My first oil change for this car was 1800 miles, after breaking in. I replaced it with 7 qts of Mobile 1 Full Synthetic. Currently, the car has 8900 miles, that is 7100 driven; unfornately, I just filled 3 qts of new Mobile 1. Luckily, I check!!! Is this normal for Tribeca? If so, this is the worst investment of a lifetime. I won't ever buy Subaru again or recommend to anyone!!!

.2007 Toyota Camry XLE key fob not opening trunk remotely...also starting to have problems with it opening driver side door

First things first...replace the cheaper part first, the battery. It that works, great! If not, then you may need a new key fob then have it programed to your system.

Mike, I have a Subaru Tribeca B9. THe passenger side blows cold air and drivers is hot.

Chlorine in factory coolant has caused corrosion and damaged the heater core (there was a recall on this WWY-09 which my subaru dealer denied!) flushing wont help. Heater core needs to be replaced.

2006 Subaru B9 Tribeca Has anyone found out how to fix the cold air blowing out of the passenger side and hot on drivers side?

Get this manual online at www.reliable-store.com and get complete guide on whether to repair or not, service it, and how to repair etc, along with wiring diagrams, electrical diagrams, torque specs, error codes,
everything.

My key fob for my 2006 LaCrosse unlocks the doors & opens the trunk, but doesn't lock the doors. Can it be cleaned, or does it need to be replaced?

It is not clear whether the problem is with the fob or the receiver in the car. You could try replacing the fob (they are available online from various sites) but the receiver will need to be programmed to use it, and that usually requires a trip to a dealership (unless you have access to the OEM service manual). Your best bet is to take it to a dealership and have them diagnose and repair the problem.
