On a 2002 saturn sl2 when driving the red brake light comes on and begins to ding. This usually only occurs when braking. I have looked at brake fluid level and also at the brakes themselves, I still cannot find a soultion to keep this light from coming on. Any suggestions?

92 Buick park avenue my brake light is on once I start driving the car it starts dinging won't stop till I turn car off help me stop the dinging

The red brake light should only come on for 1 of 2 reasons. 1. Top off brake fluid 2. And most common is your parking brake is active. Make sure it's fully released

1992 saturn sc2 vibrates when in drive foot on brake ive replaced tensenor @ belt tensenor is the vib help

If the car or brake pedal is vibrating when you hit the brakes, I would be looking at replacing the front discs as opposed to the serpentine belt. If the engine is vibrating, without any brake pedal, I would be looking at the mounts, especially the dog bones at either end though the top mount is know for failure as well . At that age with an old timing chain you could have a problem there too.
