When trying to start my 1999 GMC Jimmy I turn the egnition and all my aux. lights turn on and everything works, but there is no power going to my starter, it doesn't make the clicking sound and it won't turn my engine over. I've checked the ground wires as well and there is power to all of them. What is my problem.

Check for power to starter solinoid, if power to there. then it has to be a bad starter solinoid or starter. checker solinoid first. if bad you will not hear any clicks or anything.

I have a 1999 gmc jimmy that will start and run fine for a few days then will turn over but not start for days

I wild have to work on this until I duplicated it, then check the vehicle while it was messing up. You could have one defective component even if you just replaced it. (Fuel pump, ignition module, crank sensor, etc.) You could have simply a bad coolant temp sensor, or maybe your mass air flow sensor causing problems. You could try unhooking your coolant temperature sensor and seeing if it wild start. This makes the pcm look at a default value. You can try the same thing with the mass air flow.Do you have access to a scanner when it is messing up? Have you checked for spark at the plugs? Have you checked your fuel pressure? Sorry, I would have to actually work on it.
