Ive read thru these blogs but no one has mentioned the other causes for a P0108 code set for a 2000 dodge 4.7 ltr engine....what about MAF or even VAF? these are also possible causes and when is the last air filter service......not likely causes but possible and easly checked before spending hard earned cash just throwing parts at a problem......

P0108 - MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure) Circuit High Input
The MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor measures engine manifold negative air pressure. It's usually a three wire sensor: a ground wire, a 5 volt reference wire from the PCM (Powertrain Control Module) to the MAP sensor, and a signal wire that informs the PCM of the MAP sensor voltage reading as it changes. The higher the engine vacuum, the lower the voltage reading. The voltage should range between about 1 volt (at idle) to about 5 volts (WOT wide open throttle).

If the PCM sees the voltage reading from the MAP sensor is greater than 5 Volts, or if the voltage reading is higher than what the PCM considers normal under certain circumstances, a P0108 DTC will set.

Contact us if need additional details; good luck.

I would try MAP sensor first.

Dodge Durango engine knocking and check engine light

P0300 is a Random Misfire
P0302 #2 Cylinder Misfire
U1120 The code U1120 means, lost wheel distance message. The powertrain control module(PCM) is not
receiving a signal from the anti-lock brake module. The problem could be a short in the bus circuit,
the PCM or the anti-lock brake module. This type of problem is best diagnosed by the dealer or a
local shop with the proper diagnostic scanning equipment. Hope this helps.

What is a p0108 sensor? and my radiator fan runs all the time and the temp gauge don't work now how do i fix it

Although it sounds more like the problem has to do with your coolant temperature sensor, your P0108 means there is a problem with the MAP sensor.

Anyway, check out http://www.obd-codes.com/p0108 for details.

hi this could mean a lot of things, what you have is a fault that the ECU has registered and is informing you that you have a problem, what you will have to do is either, purchase an OBD reader, that will give you a code, then search on the net or ask on here what the code is for and you should get an answer, or ultimately take it to a garage where they can tell you what has gone wrong...hope this helps

Reset engine oil change monitor

at 7000 you should definetly change oil, but depending on the make and model of your vehicle, to shut off of the check engine light will vary from a simple procedure in your owners manual, to having a obd 2 code detecter hooked up to identifie and delete codes

Sounds right & check manual for warranty guidelines for your emission system & components, sometimes they are a little longer than 40,000 I believe.

The check engine light on means there is a code stored in the ECM. You will have to have the OBD II system scanned and cleared. The other problem is probably just a blown fuse. If you need more help get back to me.
