I just had new rotors and brake pads put on my 2004 Saturn Vue today, why am I still hearing humming noise coming from front right side. Also when weather was cooler 75 degrees, I didn't hear the humming at all. My car is in Super Excellent condition, but all of a sudden this started about 3 weeks agoo I got new rotors and brake pads.

Sounds like a front hub bearing. Did you tell the shop about the noise? They should be able to locate and repair it for you.

2005 Saturn VUE has a screeching noise in the front right of the car and only happens when I turn to the right. I would say it sounds like a swing that is rusted and squeaks high then low and back aga

does the screeching noise only happen when you put your foot on the brake-if so then you need to replace the brake pads-when you step on the brakes with a warped rotor you can feel the brakes pulsating-if you had a lower ball joint going bad it would make a rusty hinge sound-you should check at a shop that does front end alignments they can tell you for sure if its a ball joint-I would have them replace both sides and get an alignment done-cheers Denny p s they could check your brake pads too-

Saturn vue 2004 intermittent abs and traction control comes on and after restarting shuts off?

Has this happened after you replaced the sensors for the abs. if so they have to be set at a gap close to the rotor sensor to read correctly. The other thing maybe if the new sensors area slightly different to the original ones the abs might be having trouble identifying them.
The last one maybe, could the new brake pads be causing flexing or pushing against something resulting in this intermittent problem.

I'm sorry to disagree with your mechanic, but it sounds to me like your rotors are warped.I would go ahead and replace rotors and pads with an estamated 5k sounds like they are thin.

2004 Saturn VUE AWD V6 has a harsh grinding sound in front wheels

Have you checked your wheel bearings? When these go out you can get a harsh grinding noise. This sounds like that is what it might be. Does it happen when you are going fast/slow turning/going straight? I know you said it's inconsistent but the more info the better. However, if I had to bet, based on what you have already said, it's your wheel bearings. Let me know if you have further questions. Thanks for using FixYa!

Saturn Vue 2004 model

more than likely you have warped brake rotors. or lack of parallelism in the rotors. you can get them machined if there is enough meat left on the rotor or just buy a new set which isn't all that bad for that vehicle since it's a floating rotor. good luck

2004 Saturn Vue Brakes

The vibration is caused by the rotors being warped. Remove the front tires and check the front brake pads. Replace if needed. This is a pretty straight forward job. The rotors are "fall off" rotors and you won't need anything special tool wise.
