Hi....
To program the RKE (remote keyless entry) on your jeep g cherokee 94.
Follow this steps.
But maybe you will need to do more than one time.
Because some times require a few intents.

but if you have 1 remote programed all ready. you will program up 4 remotes.
If you don't have any one programed and you can't programed with this steps.
You will need to BUY the RECEIVER that is located on the ROOF CONSOLE.
Because some times come damaged....

replace remote battery to make sure, but if alarm is activated it continous to chirp the alarm or if your alarm system is set by the manufacturer try to relearn the program, if all fuse are ok, and your remote lock/unlock is work, check for lose ground connection, if remote is not working, replace the battery then try to do this. swtch ignition in 10 seconds to on-off-on-off-on-off-on-off-on wait 30 seconds, press any button of the remote once, turn igniton off, after 30 seconds start the car, if not go to the nearest service center to check the troublecodes

I had the same problem with my '94 laredo just a few days ago. Seems this is a serious problem with jeeps. Here's how to fix it yourself. First, find the kick panel on the drivers side near the hood release latch. Remove the panel(2 screws). You will see a couple of bundles of wires...I know...I know...be paitent...you can do this...I did. Look for a purple wire with a yellow stripe. You will see other purple wires, but it HAS to be the one with the yellow stripe. It should be leading into a black connection. Trust me it's there. Once you've found the purple wire with the yellow stripe, the hard part is over. Strip a section of the covering to expose part of the wire. Do not cut wire in half. Then take a piece of similar gauge wire...I used speaker wire pulled in half...and connect one end of it to the exposed part of the purple and yellow wire. Take the other end of the speaker wire, and ground it to the metal part of your jeep with a screw. I ran my wire underneath the plastic trim leading from the kick panel down along floorboard and door opening. there are a couple of screws that hold the trim and carpet to the metal chassie. Wrap end of wire onto end of one of the screws and ground it to metal part of chassie. Adding a small washer will give it a more secure ground. Once you do these steps, your factory alarm will be disabled.

My 2004 Malibu Remote is malfunctioning

I would start by buying a new remote, it will be the cheapest and fastest way to determine what your problem is. You can either get one from a GM dealer or on e-bay. I prefer e-bay because the unit is usually cheaper and you can find sellers that will include programing instructions with you purchase. The GM dealer will normally charge you $25.00+ extra for programing.

The remote is broken, the car starts but the alarm is activated. I can move the car but do not want to drive with the alarm blaring.

Three solutions here

1)disconnect one lead on the siren

2)find the instruction on how to put the alarm in valet mode.

3)order replacement alarm key fob ///have you change the battery in the alarm key fob?

Alarm activated, lights are flashing can't start vehicle

if alarm is activated, it could be shutting off the starter, hence no starting....you may have to have a locksmith or electronics place disable the alarm so you can at least drive the thing

1996 Grand Cherokee keyless entry problem

That remote should not be able to  be programmed by you, it needs to be programmed by the dealer using their computer.  I know that some later and earlier models can be programmed by the user, but I did some research on this as i have a 96 as well and it seems the 96 was a dealer computer thing.  If you in fact bought the remote from the dealer they should be willing to program it for FREE.  Otherwise I was given a $30 estimate for the programming.
