The clicking sound may be from the DRL module or the BCM which could be loose or faulty. IF I understood correctly the wiper is working fine, this should rule out the BCM. Chevrolet put the DRL in different locations. Some in the center console and some behind the glove compartment.
In your case make sure the AC is turned off when simulating the situation you are experiencing to make sure that it is not the AC unit you are hearing. THe clicking sound could be the relay for the DRL. Relay is one of the part that usually goes out first. As far as I know the DRL is in the box under the hood but I could be wrong. It should be listed in the labels under the lid for the relay/fuse.

Another part that goes out is the resistor.

Always make sure that the wires are secure and no exposed conductors or loose connections are found before replacing any parts.
