Feul pump 1yr old. new f filter, pump works at tank.but drizzles at throttle body when cranking ,but when i stop cranking, feul pressure increases and squirts of loosened line at throttle body; i also do not hear or feel injectors clicking while cranking.it runs with starting fuid
so i do have spark.is it the computer or a bad ground. it ran well before it sat for 6 mnths..

I'm leaning more toward you feul pump and filter my friend, a 2000 town and country? Filter is underneth the drivers side and the pump is in the feul tank
My first question would be is the injector spraying when you crank it ? The way its supposed to work, the fuel line to the tank should have about 10psi of pressure before you crank the engine. When you turn the key on the pump gets power for 3 seconds to boost the pressure. The pump stops working until the engine has oil pressure which takes a few seconds. If the base fuel pressure leaks back to the tank, or the pump relay is not powering the pump, you won't have any fuel pressure or spray until you get oil pressure.
There is no external feul pump, it is in the feul tank. Also there is no external feul filter, it is in the tank at the bottom of the feul pump assembly.I owned one of these trucks and was not pleased by the location of the feul filter either. If you can find a CARTER supplier they make a cheaper replacment that is same quality as oem.Good luck!
Check your starter and check your connections to make sure they are clean and tight. The low fuel pressure won't cause a no crank. Too low could cause a no start but not a no crank. I've had starters be bad right out of the box. But if that starter motor isn't turning either the starter motor is bad or the solenoid attached or the wiring to it is at fault.
Air - not likely the problem ! mechanical cable controlled throttle body
Fuel- make sure there is gas in tank! fuel pressure test at the throttle body or rails, if no fuel check power to fuel pump: ignition power to breaker or fuse, relay , power to pump at 3 pin connector near tank/frame rail on drivers side, - if pump is runniig but insufficient pressure, check for mechanical restriction: plugged filter broken or pinched line, plugged pickup tube in tank. if good pressure to rail or body, check ecm : diagnostic codes, fused power, ecm tells injectors when to open, dependent upon several sensor parameter inputs.
Spark- ignition - coil-distributor-ignition module (or coil packs)- wires-plugs-ignition module (signals coil to discharge, mounted beneath distr cap) work backwards from plugs.
Check fuel pressure prior to starting truck when cold. If there is no pressure in the system what is happening is that your check valve in the fuel pump has gone bad and allowing fuel pressure to relieve itself back into the tank. This causes a large air bubble in the fuel line that can take quite sometime to purge before it starts when fuel reaches the throttle body, which explains your long crank hard start.
If you have no means to check pressure you can also remove the air cleaner and look into the top of the throttle body while an assistant attempts to start the truck when cold. You should see fuel instantly if you do not your pump is failing to hold system pressure.
If your system is failing to hold pressure between starts the remedy is to replace the fuel pump.
check for spark while cranking
there is a fuel test port under a black cap on the fuel rail press the valve in and see if there is fuel that shoots out. but crank the car a few times first and build fuel pressure. if not the fuel pump is the cause of everything. change the fuel fitler too. clogged fuel filters lead to damaged fuel pumps
