Remove leather clipped around gear stick, lift it up and you will find a screw ( allen bolt) that holds the top, then use a T or star screw driver to remove center bolt bottom holding the whole front panel including temperature controls and cigarette lighter. Then all panel around around stereo, including vent. Not screws, just pry with some plastic on the side up to you can get your fingers behind. Sometimes a little bit stuck but it will pop out. Then 4 screws hold the stereo. Remember only a few screws hold everything 1 Allen holding top of the stick gear lever 2 Start or T screw holding all bottom panel 3 4 bolts holding stereo

Vitara/grand/sidekicks/trackers, up to 2005)https://youtu.be/Mo7lD4BNdHo?t=91sorry here is no HEX not for this JOB< zeroyes I have seen hacks done on suzuki'sbut no photos posted by you with part ID4 removed.

what makes you think there is one,? not in the traditional sense, no.
read the operators guide yet?,
notice that page is missing, (trans checks) there is a DTC for this.
to tell you its time, that is covered in the FSM.
its missing for a good reason, on many newer cars.
AF33-5 trans box>?
fsm quote ( only an ecerpt, not COMPLETE< READ THE BOOK.
Important: Routine inspection of the transaxle fluid is not required. Transaxle fluid inspection is only required if there is a symptom indicating a concern with the fluid.
Park the vehicle on a flat level surface.
Operate the vehicle in order for the transmission fluid temperature to reach the normal operating range. Specification
Transaxle normal temperature: 60-70 degrees C (140-158 degrees F)
With the engine at idle, manual shift through all transaxle ranges and return to the PARK position. Leave the engine idling.
Clean any dirt or debris away from the area of the transaxle fluid level indicator.
Remove the transaxle fluid level indicator bolt (1) from the transaxle.
Remove the transaxle fluid level indicator (2).
Wipe away any transaxle fluid from the indicator.
Insert the indicator into the transaxle until fully seated.
Remove the indicator and inspect the level and the condition of the oil on the indicator:
Transmission fluid level at normal operating temperature (1)
Transmission fluid level if cold (2)
If the fluid level is incorrect inspect for the following conditions:
Fluid below level, inspect for a leak.
Fluid above level, inspect for contamination of the fluid.
Important: The tranaxle uses T-IV fluid, GM P/N 88900925 (Canadian P/N 22689186). The fluid is normally red in color. The oil may darken in color with more miles on a vehicle.
Hi,
Please review your suzuki's manual to find all of the locations for small bulbs. It should have diagrams revealing all of these locations. Thank you..
yes heat is always a cause, heat wrecks all things many makes faster (electric)
DRL love to fail is this up in canada, , it is not law USA to have it.
he law here ended 2010 on DRL junk.(proven not to work)
many cars have a DRL module and the pins on it look burnt
and is bad. ALL DRL on suzuki seen by me to 2000 did that
no sure 02
DRL has relays to fail or even hand brakes switch too.
the 2 rules on DLR are
hand brake must turn off and lamps on, no kind of brake failure allowed,
and
no GEN?/ALT/Batteyr lamp failure in cluster
this last bit of logic allows driving further DLR off, and dead alternator in car..
or bad relays. H.L

With my 2007 XL-7, it would reset like the manual said until 30,000 miles. Today I took it to a repair shop to have the oil changed. They wrote the following instructions that reset mine today. 1. Press information button until 'oil life' is displayed. 2. Tap check mark two times and hold it on the third tap. Good luck!!
