50 causes, want to guess wrong 50 times its not a dead started. nor dead battery. nor bad alternator at this point. the word is start, not turns over, the starter motor and engine both turn over called spinning, he engine then spins(turns) and then spark burns the fuel so spark is first. not start using jumper cable car top car other car running, like the AAA auto club tow man does 100 times a day. ? if dead , check spark, fuel can not burn lacking good spark\ we test all spark plugs for strong spark if you did the chain wrong the cam is time wrong and now cam and spark are timed wrong. and compression is 1/2 normal and is now 3 ways wrong. see? chain wrong cause 3 wrongs and on modern cars newer, the PCM sees CMP and CKP out of sync and pcm then cuts spark and cutting spark cuts fuel tool so now 5 ways wrong your post did not say at what point that work made engine dead. your list if events seems wrong. time runs new chain dead , is this it?, seems so to me but I can not watch you mess up. the chain can not be just thrown on and TDC happens 2 times on 4 cycle engines the correct TDC must be used per the manual. some use #1 firing other cars use #4 or just match marks crank and cam, L61 engine with chain balance shaft. cam chain, shows 7 tools to do this job , ouch step 22 Rotate the crankshaft in the engine rotational direction clockwise, until the No.?1 piston is at top dead center (TDC) on the compression stroke. ahhhh yes very tricky timing settings to avoid piston valve hITS steps: Rotate the crankshaft in the engine rotational direction clockwise, until the No.?1 piston is at top dead center (TDC) on the compression stroke. set chain color cap to crank cog mark then at cams, 2 more chain caps at: set EXH mark cam to chain colored cap

Hi Beny, There are many problems that can cause the symptoms your Aura is having. One thing that comes to mind with a car that can't be started until the engine is cool, is a failing fuel pump. Some failing fuel pumps work fine when cold, but won't hold proper fuel pressure when hot. Another possibility is a bad ECT (Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor). A bad ECT can report the wrong coolant temperature to the engine computer, causing starting and driveability issues. Double check your battery cable and the connections to and from the battery, as well as the ground cables. Corroded terminals and loose wiring/connections can also cause issues starting your Saturn.

Sounds like you didn't lock the circlip in.

You can take off the inside door panel and disconnect the window from the regulator and close the window.

George, 2.2L or 3.0L no engines told and is an engine question. the accessory belt is the real name and not cam belt right? the old one fell off , so the path was lost? well the I will only post 1 photo of 1 engine

No DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes stored in any computer on the vehicle? Full vehicle scan. Is the security light lit also? With these lights - brake light, traction light, abs light, & battery light coming on codes would have to be stored in one of the vehicles computers. I would almost bet a U code was stored in one of the modules. U codes are communication network problem codes. You might want to find a different repair shop.

That vehicle does not have a starter relay. Does the vehicle have automatic or manual transmission? Turning the key to start sends battery voltage to the clutch switch with a manual trans. and trans. range switch with automatic trans to the s terminal on the starter solenoid. You probably have contact problems inside ignition switch.

Hi, it sounds like there might be an issue with your breaks or breakpads sticking whenever you decelerate from high speeds. Try "pump breaking" or applying the breaks for short bursts of time in order to slow down to see if this dodges the issue. If so, I would still get the break pad or system checked while still mentioning the full issue to the technician. Thank you.

running the fuel pump dry wrecks them, it is fuel cooled and fuel lubricated pump and dry wreck them,. but now has problem #2 the starter is dead, dead slient. here are the causes. (all) and tests. if confused tow it to as shop or ask AAA to jump start it. does jump starts fail>>> this is key fact this. (power)

1. check all fuses first. under-hood box and cab.fuse box.
2. head lamps must be bright, key on and key off, are they>?
3. if bright the starter relay and or starter solenoid will click or chatter, my but the relay is tiny sound now, is it clicking? keyed to start.??
4. The car has manual or autotransmission, guess AUTO
5. Auto , PRNDL, put gear shift to N, from P, using foot brake key on per the users guide, and next crank it in Neutral. does this magic trick work>? the users guide even tells now. this test finds a bad PARK switch in the tranny.
6. ON this car the PCm and BCM run the starter relay totally.
7. this means they must be happy and cars battery charged and never below 10.VDC. or they MALF.. voltmeter checked.
8. Now the IP cluster, is the IMMO lamp lock glowing wrong?
9. if yes, IMMO does not like your key ,try both?
10. cluster show hood switch open, cranking is blocked, is hood open or there are hood open errors>?
11. that is it for now, as you can see doing jumper cables jump start cranking is hard with #10 hood up. oops fails. I bypass the hood switch to do this. and is a double switch , ouch.
12. if car has remote start option all this gets more complex.stop

well the service manual covers this for sure NO DTC told at all (all of em') what engine is this. and what transmission, we can not guess that the VIN and RPO codes tell this easy/ OSS, errors. (most are on the tranny tail shaft but this is FWD. is most time this. 1: bad sensor. 2: bad wires to it. 3: transmission slips bad, caused by lots of things, bad clutch pack or low apply piston pressure or the leak or any gross internal leaks of VAST possible. 2007 is year one. made 3 autos were sold with car. new 4-speed 4T45-E automatic 6-speed 6T70 automatic 6-speed 6T40 automatic let me try to guess which one it is . bingo wiki nails it (USA cars) 3 engines to but below is XE: so they say.... (newer cars have like 3 to 10 computes now. ECU/PCM /TCM/BCM and more. so have many pages, on that connected IGN and spark. and stater, no problem told so not telling that I can not guess what pages matter to you. your PCM runs 6 cop coils (all 6 dead?) COIL Over PLUGS. use ckp and cmp sensors that make that happen. and timed. the car may have IMMO secuirty keys, and if key lost or bad the IMMO goes dead killing dead, spark and fuel. never have just one key some have battery in the key dead. look? the users guide covers all that key jive. no problem told, my car has 7000 page factory service manual and 100s of pages just on PCM and related pars. 100s sorry not posting them all.
