Did they work before replacing the master switch? If not, check fuses and (sometimes) relays -- information is in your owner's manual, or search online. If the windows worked previously, either the new switch is no good or somehow it wasn't connected properly.

Unplug the fuel injector wires from the injectors and do an ohm test on the 2 pins the wires clip on. I've forgotten what the reading should be, but if the injectors are bad the reading will be a bit different from the other bank. Normally when a cylinder is misfiring the injectors are not firing to shoot the fuel in. I do hope this helps, but be ready to change those injectors.

Sounds like about the right distance for the system to go into close loop.Use a good scan tool to check parameters of the system to locate the failing sensor/item when it stalls.

Have you located where the sound is coming from? It's hard to speculate without having an idea where the noise is coming from.

Manufacturers suggestion is
DEXRON® VI Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF)

The transmission in 05 that one has a filter and takes close to 7 quarts. It has a level hole, no dipstick. You fill it idling in park till it just starts to come out of the level hole.

Depends. There are speed sensors at the front wheels. Or do you mean the speed sensor for the speedometer? In that case it will be on the transmission by where the axle shaft comes out.

Speedometer
The instrument panel cluster (IPC) displays the vehicle speed based on the information from the body control module (BCM). The engine control module (ECM) calculates the vehicle speed based on the controller area network (CAN) serial data message indicating the wheel reference speed from the electronic brake control module (EBCM). The ECM sends a CAN serial data message to the BCM indicating the vehicle speed. The BCM sends a class 2 message to the IPC indicating the vehicle speed.
The speedometer defaults to 0 km/h (0 mph) when any of the following occur:
• The EBCM detects a malfunction in the vehicle speed sensor circuit.
• The ECM detects a loss of CAN communications with the EBCM.
• The BCM detects a loss of CAN communications with the ECM.
• The IPC detects a loss of class 2 communications with the BCM.

Having the vehicle scanned for codes would probably point you in a correct diagnostic direction .

Do you have children? If so, might they have jammed something in the ignition key hole? If no kids, and this is a random thing. Then I would suggest a locksmith. YES they are expensive! But you have a small situation here my friend. If you continue with the screwdriver method. There is a very real possibility you could make the switch inoperable. Now you can't get to work, school, softball games, girl scouts, boy scouts, etc.... And then you have to call a locksmith anyway to fix the problem that you might have made worse (and by worse I mean MORE expensive) than before. Is this making any sense? I hope so. Funny though, I never had anything like this when I had my SC2.
Hope it all works out for you!
Jason
