Manual transmissions usually don't have dipsticks, there should be a fill hole. Slipping is going to be a clutch problem or might check your clutch slave cylinder level.

Stop Lamps
The body control module (BCM) is responsible for controlling the stop lamps. When the driver presses the brake pedal, the BCM will receive a signal from the brake switch. The BCM then supplies battery positive voltage to both left and right stop lamp assemblies and to the center high mounted stop lamp (CHMSL).

Which one isn't working ? Left - right or center high mount

The rating of tbe alternator is at a specific speed, such as 125 amps at 1200 rpm or greater. At idle this ability is greatly reduced. The 27 amps you measured is what the car is drawing (at idle, not what the alternator is capable of producing. It can probably produce 50 amps if needed at idle.) It soulds like the alternator is functioning properly, suspect the battery. (DON'T measure just the voltage, you need to run a CCA test to determine if it's stillgood.)
