Hi Beny,
There are many problems that can cause the symptoms your Aura is having. One thing that comes to mind with a car that can't be started until the engine is cool, is a failing fuel pump. Some failing fuel pumps work fine when cold, but won't hold proper fuel pressure when hot.
Another possibility is a bad ECT (Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor). A bad ECT can report the wrong coolant temperature to the engine computer, causing starting and driveability issues.
Double check your battery cable and the connections to and from the battery, as well as the ground cables. Corroded terminals and loose wiring/connections can also cause issues starting your Saturn.
A blower motor that only works on certain speed settings could be the result of a faulty fan speed switch or blower motor resistor. If only one single speed works (usually HIGH), chances are the problem is a faulty resistor. Blower motor resistors can vary greatly in price depending on if the A/C system is Automatic or Manual. For example, an automatic A/C resistor costs around $175 while a manual A/C resistor only costs about $25. These two parts are not interchangeable; the correct resistor must be used for the type of system that's being repaired. Thankfully changing a resistor isn't too big of a job. The process starts by removing the right "close out panel" which is the cover under the dash near the glove box. The cover is only held in by retainer clips so no tools are necessary; just pull and remove. Next, disconnect the blower motor resistor connector and inspect for a melted condition. If damage of this nature is seen, a blower motor resistor pigtail will need to be installed as well. Finally, remove two screws from the resistor and the part will come loose from the HVAC box. Installation is as simple as reversing the removal procedure. You can read more here: https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/how-to-buy-a-good-quality-heater-blower-motor
I HAVE A 2007 AURA DOING THE EXACT SAME THING..TAKING IT INN THE MORNING..HAVE SERVICES PAYING FOR AND CANT HEAR...JUST GOING IN FOR THE DIAGNOSTIC FOR SATURN CARS..BUT I KNOW ITS NOT MY FUSE THIS TIME...HAD THIS PROBLEM BEFORE AND IT WAS THAT SIMPLE. FUSE BOX IN THE TRUNK WAS THE SOLUTION AT THAT TIME. THIS TIME ALL FUSES WERE GOOD...SO THINKING IT MAY BE MY RELAY SWITCHES...JUST HOPE IT DOESNT COST AN ARM AND LEG....JUST MISS MY XM AND ONSTAR....
There are two fuse panels on the 2007, 2008, 2009 Saturn Aura. The first is under the hood. The second is in the trunk hidden behind a pop-out panel in the side trim on the driver's side.

How to check a ford type starter solenoid relay DIY troubleshooting car no crank automotive repair easy step ...
Have you had a hard time putting gasoline in the tank (pump kicks off repeatedly, gas shoots back out of car)? The "charcoal canister" was my problem. A bit pricey, they are.
you should take a look at the switch, it may be shorted work it back and forth,if that don't do it for you then you will want to take the motor out it is ether shorted out or just need cleaning up ,to reduce the amp, draw . hope this helps if you would like any further help feel free to ask.Thank you
DTC P1682: Ignition 1 Switch Circuit
Circuit/System Description
There are two ignition 1 voltage circuits supplied to the engine control module (ECM). The first ignition 1 voltage circuit is provided by the powertrain relay, through a fuse. This ignition 1 voltage circuit supplies power to all the internal ECM circuits associated with the throttle actuator control (TAC) operation. The run/crank relay provides the second ignition 1 voltage circuit to the ECM, through a fuse. This ignition 1 voltage provides power to other internal ECM circuits, except those associated with TAC operation. The ECM continuously monitors the voltage level difference between the two circuits.
Are you seeing a Reduced Engine Power message ? You can't by-pass anti-theft system , your problem is probably a lack of voltage supply to the ECM .
Hello: Instrument panel fuse block- located on the instrument panel (passenger side consel) near the
floor. Remove the panel then the fuse block cover. Engine compartment fuse block: Under the hood on driver side near the battery. You may have to remover cover to access the fuse block. Rear compartment fuse block Located in the trunk. Access the fuse through the trunk panel on the driver side. The inside of the fuse block covers give you the location, size of fuse and purpose. Hope this helps.
I'm not an expert on the Aura, but most Saturn engines have the knock sensor on the back of the engine near the firewall. It'll be almost right in the middle.
You did not state engine size but since your'e asking I am assuming it's the 3.6? If so the crank sensor is on the rear of the engine right above the right axle where axle enters the transmission. you must get it from the bottom. I believe there is a brace there you can move, been awhile. If I'm wrong about the engine size please correct me.
I got this free Pdf manual from reliable-store for free and I don't think Ive visited a mechanic or fixya for help for more than 3-4 times out of the 20 times I fixed the chipper in these 4 years
