if you google Where is flasher relay located on 1999 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 you will find answers. Look above the fuse box under the left side of the dash to locate the flasher unit. The flasher is a square unit that looks like a relay. It will have its own receptacle mounted separately from the fuse box.
the cooling fans on autos require a motor, a power wire , a fuse ..........and
relays. ( look under your hood for a black box with some 1 inch by 1 inch black square relays ) under the cover it will tell you what relay is for the fan. u can take another relay out of the same relay box and test the fan circuit ( as long as the pins look the same and the relay looks the same ) and plug it in and see if that fixes the problem........if it does, go buy a new relay ( remember to put them back where you got them from)
its either a blown fuse, a bad relay, or the motor finally gave up. try the fuses and relays first
