Hello Debra Finfrock.
Sorry to see your troubles... sorrier still that no one seems to have responded.
I was just pouring over some of AUTOZONE's
"library" of circuit drawings (wiring diagrams) looking to see
if it was adequate enough to handle a simple "cigarette lighter" fuse question...?
IT WAS NOT... However your
ECU is indeed the HEART of everything you have already changes.
Just a trouble-shooting tip... When things get worse... go backwards to your LAST KNOWN GOOD configuration... and try to NOTE the difference
Although pretty sparse the "diagrams" did depict Engine and safety (lights, airbags, etc.) issues (only)... but DID give some insight into
your Problems (pressure + temperature sensors, switches, "knock" sensors...
Take a look... I know how vexing some of these "lights" can be... especially when they seem meaningless... Also check out autozone's tool loan program (looks interesting)...
The sad news was... if I wanted a part for my car... I had to find it at rockauto.com... (but hey).
Try the AUTOZONE WIRING Library (certainly full of CAMERY SAFETY coverage, 1983 to 1996) at:
http://www.autozone.com/repairinfo/repairguide/repairGuideContent.jsp?pageId=0900c152801cce2c
membership required... lights, safety & engine only... No cigarette lighter shown
"CIG" found by photo found on BING: DRIVERSIDE @ steering culumn, ox under dash... right side, middle 15A fuse.
COMMENT me back if I can help read the drawings... it is what I used to do(before retirement).... WAS pretty good...
IF the drawings were ANY good.
I tried to get back in again to add to the "knock sensor" list... but their (autozone techs) aren't any MORE COMPREHENSIVE than the TOYOTA TECHS that are lighting your
DASH lights.
Caution: Do Not IGNORE that FLASHING "O/d" light...
Hope you already resolved everything successfully!!
