Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 2Note: This definition of P0430 is applied to all manufacturers
As the code description implies the P0430 code means that the vehicle's control module has detected that the three-way catalytic converter is not working properly (is not as efficient as the factory is expecting). Replacing the oxygen (O2) sensors may sometimes fix the code, but in most cases the catalytic convert needs to be replaced to fix the problem. If the P0430 code is combined with other codes, try fixing the other codes first.
Trying to install a new radio into my 06 Toyota Solara car works but getting no power to the radio... Not sure what I hooked up wrong
If you hooked everything up correctly check the car fuse for your radio/accessories in the fuse box of your car. Usually people let wires touch other things while installing and this can cause a short which will blow the radio fuse. Fuse box should be either in the area under the steering wheel or somewhere under your hood usually covered with a plastic cap. Check your owners manual to find it and check the cover to locate which fuse it is. Pull the fuse out and if the bridge is broken your fuse is blown. Replace and it should work. If it blows out again after replacing it there's likely a short somewhere in your power connection.
Hi I have Toyota solara 2006 and 120000 m on it
Your O2 sensor is part of your engine management system and helps the main computer decide on the correct fuel/air mixture for the current driving conditions. They often go bad way earlier than 120 K miles. The check engine light is the cars way of telling you a number of things are bad. You can easily replace the O2 sensor your self. It is located in the lower part of the exhaust manifold. It looks like a sparkplug with a thin wire on it. Simply disconnect the wire from the engine connection, unscrew the O2 sensor and replace it with a new one (about $85-110) at your local auto parts store. Hope this helps.

Cracked vinyl on dashboard replace or repair ?
If you really like the car, replace the dashboard. Or there are car specific " carpet type covers" you can buy. Always use ARMORAL on your new dashboard. Doing this, I have never had one crack.
