Subwoofer output distorted

Check to see if the speaker foam surrounds have disintegrated on your subwoofer. I bet it is. If so the speaker will sound like it is distorting or vibrating. Electrically it should be fine. My 2000 Avalon has this same problem with the 8" JBL subwoofer. It is a common problem and an easy fix. Go online to ebay or Amazon and purchase a speaker foam surround replacement kit (Ranges from $18.00 to $25). Youtube also has "How To" videos on how to repair this on your own. I just ordered my foam kit and awaiting the parts. Here is one for $23 but you can shop around for other deals. Toyota JBL Speaker Foam Edge Repair Replacement Kit 86160 AC180 Avalon...

2005 toyota avalon overheated and now it will not

Is it turning over or is it locked up - check to see if your can turn it over by hand- serious overheating can ruin an engine permanently. It can melt critical wiring as well. For many of the 90's and 2000's Toyota various models - Camry, Tacoma, 4 Runners, Corolla, and some other models it is usually caused by temperature sensitive fan switch on the radiator not operating. Electric fan on the radiator should operate when temp above 200 degrees. Less often the control relay 90987-03003 is defective. Check if bubbling in the radiator smells like exhaust. That would indicate a blown head gasket. A jumper wire from your marker light positive to the lower contact in the fan control relay socket will operate your fan when parking lights are on. The larger vehicles with more powerful radiator fans will need a hefty jumper from a headlight positive to avoid overheating the lighting wiring. Make sure the engine is off and warmed up to check the radiator core with your hand to see if it is getting circulation. If it is all cold the thermostat might be stuck.

2005 Toyota Avalon with codes p0441,p0455,p0456,p0505 and the vcs abs and traction light on?

You have a few different things coming up as these lights and codes. I'll list the code meaning below. Did you mean the VSC light? VSC, Traction Control and ABS all refer to your braking system so get it fixed AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! The '505' code refers to the air flow management system in the air intake manifold. The other codes refer to the EVAP system on the vehicle. This may seem a silly suggestion but check you fuel filler cap isn't loose, missing or the seal on the cap isn't damaged. The EVAP works as an air tight system and if it is leaking that is one of the most common causes, (and its a cheap repair). P0441 = Evaporative Emission System Incorrect Purge Flow P0455 = Evaporative Emission System Leak Detected (large leak) P0456 = Evaporative Emission System Leak Detected (very small leak) P0505 = Idle Air Control System

Toyota avalon 2006 key fob apparently doesn't work

It looks like you have the "Smart Key" (a small rectangular box) that does not look like a traditional key.
What you also have is a dead battery inside the Smart Key.
Look closely at the box; there is a little button on the side. Press it. This will release a small hidden key. After you remove the small key, use a small flat blade screwdriver to pry the case of the box open at the slot provided. Take the unit to a store that sells miniature batteries, and have it replaced. You will NOT have to reprogram it after the battery is changed. The life span of the miniature batteries is roughly 20 months, less if exposed to RFI, like sitting on a TV, a monitor, or other electrical device. The Smart key TRANSMITS all of the time, even when you do not press the buttons. This is why the battery only lasts 18-20 months. Let me know if this fixes your issue..
