New battery, new altnator, like it keeps draining

It sounds like you have a draw due to a short circuit. Pull all the fuses from your fuse panel and make sure everything is turned off. Then, use a digital mulitmeter , with each lead on 1 battery post. Have an assistant start to reinstall the fuses, one by one. When the voltage drops as a fuse is installed , you have found the circuit which has a problem.

How do you pull codes from 1991 toyota pickup 22r

you will need a toyota code reader, it is to old for a universal code reader, the port to plug it in is under the dash on the drivers side ( typically ) if you don't want to purchase one a large chain parts store will usually do it for you for free in the hopes that you will purchase parts to fix the problem at their store.

My truck has been sitting in a garage for 7 years and want stay running

The very first thing you do is get rid of the gas in the tank. When petrol sits for a year or more, varnish develops in the tank and lines. Once you do that, add a fuel additive for cleaning out a varnished fuel system. Ask your local Auto Zone or whomever you go to, I would then check that you have fuel pressure to the fuel system by removing a line and having someone crank it for you. If no fuel pressure, the fuel pump has been glued by varnish. If you do have fuel pressure, then you should check the distibutor cap on the inside to free any corrosion on the contacts. Make sure the spark plugs are good, and if not change them. Hope this helps.

Truck overheated, coolant in oil....any hope?

Have a mechanic look at it and replace the head gasket if that is the problem. Some problems have to be faced directly. If it sounds too good to be true it very likely is.If you live in Florida, you may have the right to shoot the truck.

When I pushed my clutch in to shift I felt a pop under my foot. After that I couldn't get my truck into gear. And now I can't start my truck.

Look underneath at where the pedal mounts, My bet is the plate that is mounted to the pedal has cracked. Im not saying you should, But i would leave it in place & spot weld it.

91 toyota truck igniter, coil, distributer, ecu?

HelloThe engine in this vehicles drive train are fully electronically controlled by a computer called the PCM (Power Train Control Module). Whenever a problem like this occurs the computer stores a record of the problem (there are of course some exceptions to this, like the fuel pump, engine coolant temperature sensor and MAF sensor for instance) in the form of a fault code in its memory, to read these fault codes you must have the systems memory scanned with a special tool. Once the fault code(s) are read you then must perform the appropriate diagnostic testing to find and resolve the problem(s) DO NOT REPLACE ANY PARTS UNTIL A TRAINED TECHNICAIN HAS DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM TO AVOID SPENDING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON PARTS THAT MAY NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM

How to remove a crank shaft seal

This is a big job and you will need a manual for guidance. Basically remove the gear box ( auto or manual) remove the clutch assembly or flex plate . Remove the flywheel. Use a seal remover tool or drill a small hole in the seal and inset a self tapper screw and lever out the seal. Replace with a new seal taking care to install with out damaging the seal. Replace all the removed items. As I said a big job and will take about 8 hours for a novice.

91 toyota pick up won't' start clicking sound

your starter sounds like its sticking. the carbon brushes in older models wear down and need to be replaced. or, starter needs replacing/reconditioning. first try to tap lightly on the starter with a hammer then try to turn the key(bring hammer with you!!)failing that you may need to get it checked. you could try a hill start to see if it is just the starter.
