getting code p1135 and p1155 on toyota rav4 2002
Here's what the codes mean:
P1135 Air/Fuel Sensor Heater Circuit Response (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P1155 Air/Fuel Sensor Heater Circuit. (Bank 1 Sensor 2
This is mainly related to the oxygen sensors. It maybe the sensors themselves or an open wire going to te sensors. They are mainly located on the exhaust pipe. One before and on after the catalytic converter.

I am getting a Code P1135 for 2002 Toyota Rav4 which points to Bank 1 sensor 1. Could you point me where exactly the sensor is? I googled and did not find any picture or diagram showing me the location of the sensor. Thanks a lot.
its the sensor on the drivers side of the exhaust manifold........ it might be an air fuel ratio meter and not an o2 sensor.. good luck jimmy

p1155 code for a toyota rav4 2002, engine lite came , took to parts store, put on diognostic machine , this code came up. wat does it mean?
Bank 2 sensor 1 Air fuel sensor heater circuit. This sensor is NOT an O2 sensor, though it operates like one and in the same location(in exhaust stream). Basically the PCM detected that the heater circuit was drawing excessive amperage or no amperage. Usually it's a bad a/f sensor and replacing it will fix it, however, it doesn't rule out the possibility of damaged wiring or an open in the power or ground circuit, or a short in the power or ground circuit.
Hope helps (remember rated this).

When the rainy season began, I discovered that the passenger side floor of my Toyota RAV4 lets in water. It appears the water leak pattern is from the passenger door into the entire passenger carpet area if the car is out in the rain long enough. The door itself or the paper holder is not wet, just the carpet area. I have completely dried the carpet and then taken the car into the rain and the leak pattern repeats as described above from the edge of the carpet floor closest to the door in. There is no front end work or damage that preceded this problem occuring. Any suggestions?
Hi, we also have a 2002 Toyota Rav4 and developed a leak in the front driver's side of the car. After much research, we discovered that the drain wells from our sun/moon roof were clogged. If you have one of these, I suggest that you open the sun roof and look carefully. You will notice some tiny little holes in front and in the rear of the sun/moon roof tracks. Over time, these become clogged with dust and debris. You need to find a long, sturdy piece of thin wire and run it down the holes. To test if you have properly unclogged these, take a small amount of water and pour it down the holes. You should see water coming out of the drain wells under the car around the rear of the front tires. Hope this helps.

when i press the gas pedal i can hear a rattling sound
Hi, there a couple of things that can cause this rattling type noise on acceleration the most common was the serpentine drive belt tensioner there was a service bulletin to address this. That bulletin number is EG021-07. The other problem is with the heat shields on the exhaust have a tendency to rattle also. I would have your local mechanic inspect both of these issues have them pull the service bulletin to verify whether not yours has been replaced or is making noise.

the mechanic connects a computer somewhere inside the bonnet and enters a pin code for it then the car starts and every time i pay him $40, is it a scam or I am not aware of anything? help please
if he is having to come over every time you start the vehicle this is a scam! What model & year Rav 4 is it? usually battery replacement is a straight forward procedure and no recoding is needed.

Does a 2002 Toyota RAV4 have a relay for window motor? This car is one of the cheap-material-made junk one ever buys, it took Toyota years to finally recall transmission problem on sears of 2001-2003 more people are complaining about the driver side window and power lock as well but Toyota doesn't seem to be paying attention!. My driver side lock and window are dis-functional every other doors and windows are fine, I can not lock or unlock this door using my power switch, the window closes and opens whenever it wants some times it stops halfway being electronic technician my self, I thought this power door has a "RELAY" located somewhere, unfortunately not on the owners manual or in any fuse box, what I feel really bad about is that I own two of these vehicles one of them is 2002 and the other one is 2003, they both look like, I didn't see any difference in parts or body-style, just wondering if someone have replaced a relay on this 2002 rav4 and tell me where it is located at?
Hi, there is only one relay for all of the windows, so that is not the problem. The likely problem is the switch. I recommend you test the switch using an ohmmeter.
In the case of the door lock, that problem may be a failed lock motor. I recommend you apply power directly to the lock motor to see if it works. If it does, check the switch. If not, replace the motor.

I own a Toyota RAV4 2002. The engine check turn on, then using an scanner tool I got the following report.
P0141 BANK 1 SENSOR 2, O2 SENSOR HEATER CIRCUIT.
I looked for the replacement at different part providers and there are six O2 sensors.
Do you know what sensor correspond to BANK 1 SENSOR 2?
