02 Saturn SC1 = I replaced the purge valve
Not sure if these photos got downloaded ...
It would have helped to have the P04XX code for your issue. Your code analysis indicates a wide spectrum of possibilities .... not just the purge solenoid near the engine.
There are web references to various Saturn EVAP issues .. not always pointing to the same root cause.
Troubleshooting these are not always easy since numerous things can fail to throw the OBDII code.
Good luck!
Instrument panel lights
You have the thermometer looking light [ engine temp], you have the radiator looking light[ low coolant. You have the battery looking light [ battery or alternator, and the check engine light. Also a wrench light [ something else wrong could be a number of things] What light are you referring to?
Sunroof
that is a well now problem I have had it on 2 out of 3 cars and sad to say there is only one fix for it and that is replace the complete sun roof (dealer or scrap yard)
Car won't start
most likely a fuel issue, could be a bad pump... turn the key to the on position and listen for the hum of the pump kicking in, if there is no hum it is most likely you fuel pump needs to be replaced or you have a bad electrical connection to it.
If it hums there may be a blockage somewhere in the line.
letting a gas tank run under 1/4 tank can burn out a fuel pump, the gas in your tank actually insulates the pump and helps keep it cool.
Losing lots of oil from back (passenger side) of engine. Can't pinpoint
my guess would be the valve cover gasket.......easy way to tell is if there is oil around the edge of the valve cover or in with the spark plugs.........but yes timing chain cover could be it also......and yes that could happen with the serpentine but it would be more scattered around
Passlock disabling fuel pump
The security, antitheft, or passlock light is a visual indication that something in the car's antitheft system is failing. In most GM cars and trucks there is a hidden system that most people are unaware even exists. From the moment you put your key in the ignition, there begins a constant line of communication between your key's security chip or transponder, to the ignition's lock cylinder, and then to the car's TDM (Theft Deterrent Module). These 3 parts are in CONSTANT communication. If the key is in the ignition, then these parts are sending signals to each other. The security light illuminates when that signal gets broken, even just for a second. When the signal breaks, the car misinterperates this as an attempt at theft and goes into antitheft mode. The car thinks its being stolen or hotwired because it is not getting that signal from YOUR specific key. This is why the security light turns on and shuts down your vehicle. This link may help you find ways to bypass this or fix it yourself.

No heat changed thermostat
may be the heater core , or a clogged up coolant system. Do you ever smell a sweet smell, or hear water gargling after you turn the car off?
