check to see if your getting gas also a spark

Common problem with these transmissions.Wear in the boost valve assembly in the valve body causes low pressure and no or partial reverse issues.low fluid can also cause this issue.Make sure you check the fluid with the engine idling in park.The valve bodies are repairable with some expensive tools and knowledge.New valve bodies were availiable from saturn but not sure if gm still sevices the parts.Call Transtar @ 800 633 3340 ext 237 Tammy Mcheal and she can sell you a rebuilt valve body and I can walk you through instalation.

most likely it is an engine miss fire when hot, the smell is the catalytic converter overheating because of the miss fire, if you fix the miss fire the smell will go away, try replacing the spark plugs and plug wires, and see if the problem dose'nt go away.....good luck

Your gage sensor is broken. It will take some skill to get to it. I would take it to a shop and they will change it for you.

I would worry about the fuction of ch engine light at this point,,,what you want to know is what is wrong,,,
Goto your local autozone parts store and get the codes scanned for free and they give you a printout of what the codes mean,,,than you know what to buy and they will clear the codes if they ask if you want them to just say yes
