Where is the water pump located?

The pump is on the passenger side below alternator. It is easier to reach if you pull the passenger side tire, then remove splash panel and the pump will be accessable.

1998 Saturn SL, shut the car off, and the headlights which are always On, would Not turn off, had to disconnect the plugs, what would cause this

Have their been any other electrical malfunctions? If not, it is doubtful that the ignition switch is the culprit. Although it could be the very beginning of its failure. Watch for other accessory malfunctions to.confirm ignition switch issue.

Ford escort 1996 1.8i - running on 3 cylinders, changed leads have spark

Determine what cylinder is misfiring and do a compression test on that cylinder. Compare it with a cylinder that is not misfiring. You should have no more than 20% difference between the good cylinder and the bad cylinder. If it is low on compression, suspect a burn valve or bad valve seat... and it will require cylinder head repair. If it is good on compression, then look for a faulty injector or some other reason for the misfire on the dead cylinder.

Obd system check -fail

It means that the O2 sensor isn't switching as fast as it should. Make sure there are no vacuum or exhaust leaks. Most Likely you got a lazy O2 sensors which would require replacement.

1998 Saturn SL just won't start anymore.

assuming it will turn over ('cranks"), my bet would be the crank sensor has failed, and it is not to difficult to change if you can get the car in the air high enough to get fully under it. The sensor is located just above the starter, on the side of the engine closest to the firewall. It is held in place by one bolt, and you will need to remove the electrical connector to remove it. a new one is usually less than $50, and almost any auto repair shop should be able to replace it for less than $125.

Car runs fine at times then will not start. Sprayed carb cleaner in air filter and then it starts but dies when i start. The next day car starts and runs fine.

It sounds like your car isn't getting the proper amount of gas. You say your mechanic changed the fuel pump and the regulator. Id have him run a diagnostic tool on it to see if it throws any other codes. Its getting fire. Try changing the FUEL FILTER. it maybe clogged. maybe the pressure regulator is not giving it enough pressure to push the gas into the engine or maybe the fuel pump is only working at times. Does it run good and then start to spit and spudder then die? if so its not getting gas some how. Idk if you can adjust the pressure regulator or not. i mostly work on old school cars.

Car shakes side to side

If you've had this or a similar problem for two years the car is well overdue for a visit to the auto doctor. If it had been fixed early, it would probably have been cheaper than it will be now. The one problem may have grown into two or three by now.

Why is my engine grinding in my 1998 saturn

The engine does not usually grind. It is most likely the transmission. When a transmission grinds it means that it is unable to shift properly, a couple of things that can cause that are the cluch needs to be replaced, or one of the gears is stripped.
