O2 kia rio stalls after three seconds
So, it will start right up with no issues after it stalls? Could be a few things. You may have faulty O2 sensors causing the fuel trim to cause problems, it could be a bad/dirty MAF sensor that just needs a cleaning, or you may have an Idle Air control valve that isn't functioning properly. Some of these things you can do yourself, but you'll need a scanner that can see live data to look at the others.

Car wont idle when cold
Use a bottle of yellow HEET dry gas to remove any moisture problem in the fuel.
Clean / replace air filter.
Top off ATF to MAX level.

I changed the fuel pump
Gas gauge has nothing to do with fuel pump. possible causes:
1. Low fuel in tank, get some more fuel
2. Rat chewed the fuel gauge wire or its socket is loose
3. gauge itself is faulty

2002 kia rio wont run for more than 5 seconds then it dies out.
Weak fuel pump, (check fuel pressure) Im leaning towards a Clogged catalytic converter as its the most common overlooked problem that will cause a car to run for a bit after it sits a while, only to not restart immediatly after it stalls, but will again start after some time.

Wont stay running for more than 5 seconds.
This could be a lot of things. IT could be bad gas, it could be the fuel pump, it could be the injectors or the crank sensor. It is too hard to diagnose without a scanner. If you can get a scanner from someplace like autozone and see what codes are stored, it would be beneficial to us.
