You definitely want to get hooked up to a scanner to get the OBD codes for your vehicle malfunctions. AutoZone, AdvanceAuto, or your local Auto Parts store will help if you ask them to scan your vehicle.

Hi, it may not be the master cylinder but a leak in the piping or other brake parts. The system was bled to get all the air out when the new cylinder was fitted and it sounds like you are getting air back into the system again that will cause the brakes not to work .Some times it can be caused by a perforated brake pipe due to rust.

In order to remove the front wheel bearings without press hub off the bearing and then the bearing out of the knuckle. To do the first step need a a Support Bridge.It is a special tool. Make bridge and use a general bearing pulled kit to replace bearings. use a "Front Wheel Drive Bearing Removal Adapters Puller Pulley Tool Set Kit" .To replace the bearing, remove front CV shaft taking care not to move the CV shaft too far out .

Recommended oil should be marked on the oil cap and in your owners manual. Also on the sticker where you last changed the oil. Normally it is either 5w30 or 10w30 weight.

I guess you are right and it has something to do with having the transmission changed, rather than the transmission itself. I can't help regarding what is wrong but if you paid good money to have the transmission changed the responsibility for rectifying the fault is the person or company that caused it. I suggest you go and have a meaningful discussion...

I am assuming you are talking about the front brakes. If that is the case, its possible that one or both of your calipers are seizing thus holding the pads against the rotor. The other possibilities of locking up, are: bent or worn caliper sliders (bolts, in most cases) or believe it or not, front brake hoses. Have a qualified brake shop check these items.
