Fuel pump reset button
Where does that question & subject get spread from ?
It is a well known fact --THAT ONLY FORD PRODUCTS--
have or ever had a Fuel Safety Shut Off Switch
ALSO--why would that even come up ?
UNLESS --your in an accident that totals your car, that
switch won't open, thus turning off the fuel pump
If you suspect a fuel delivery problem,Diagnose the issues
There are at least 6 or more tests, that can be done for a
fuel pressure or pump problem
Why would I not have no power to my fuel pump or spark plugs
Hi JS, I'm glad to help!
First, you need to make sure the vehicle's computer is not in "Theft Mode" because if it is, then it will shut down the fuel pump and power to the spark plugs. This is all done through the "Auto-Shut-Down-Relay" I would try swapping the ASD Relay with another one in the fuse box that looks the same just to make sure its not a bad relay. If it starts replace the ASD Relay with a new one. If it doesn't start, then check all the fuses under the hood and inside the car "If There is a Fuse Box Inside"? If you find all fuses are good, then you could have a bad "CRANK SENSOR" I'd try replacing it. NOTE: But only if the vehicle is not in "Theft Mode"! Hope this helps and have an awesome day JS!
What is the fix for code P0191 on 2012 sonata
fuel rail pressure sensor readings out of range ,i'd suggest taking to a mechanic with diagnostic equipment as could be anything fro low fuel pressure to the PCM having a fault , not the sort of thing to attempt without diagnostice equipment
My 2001 Hyundai Sonata's check engine light is on
I Have similar problems in mine. At engine idle it sounds like the engine has "hiccups" and when accelerated i lose power and sounds boggy or like the engine is choking. i ran tests and it is caused by failire of the oxygen or O2 censor. If you look at the very front of the engine at the exhaust manifold where the exhaust system starts there will be 2 plugs on the right side of the manifold and the bottom one is the o2 censor.
