Where is brake pedal switch in Porsche Cayenne 2006
On most vehicles it will be mounted on the front of the frame the brake pedal pivots in. using a torch get your head into the footwell and follow the brake pedal all the way up as far as it goes. It will be mounted in a square "U" shaped frame with a wiring connector clipped to the front of it. This is connected to the switch your looking for.
Porche cayene 2006 side passenger heat doesn't work
Hi,
Many seat heaters are either controlled by a fuse, switch and/ or relay. You may need to check whichever of those you may have the skill to do. If the LIGHT on the heater switch is working you can probably rule out those 3. Likely the 'heater elements' (usually thin wires than run under the seat's cover that heat up when voltage is applied, which then heats the seat) have a crack in them somewhere, which needs reconnected.
Also, does the power control work on the passenger seat? If not, it may share a circuit/fuse w/the heater switch.

The tool to do the job is located in the rear cargo area under the door covering the spare etc. Undo the velcro strap holding down the tools on the right. Here look for an "L" shaped tool with what looks like an allen key handle attached to it. Once located, open the engine compartment and right behind each headlight, locate a plastic oblong cover with two lock pictures and an arrow on it. Push down on the front of it, which makes it flip up and allows you access to a nut that the tool goes over. You may need a flashlight to see the nut as it is approx. 5 inches down. Once the tool is attached, use the movable lever for leverage and turn as directed on the plastic cap you removed. This starts the whole headlamp assembly moving forward. Only move the lever enough to allow the light assembly to move just enough for you to physically grip and slide the light out. Leave the lever in place as you have to use it to slide the light back in. Once the light assembly is out, on the back you'll see various accesses to the lights. When reinstalling the light assembly look on the bottom of it and guide the long black fins into their narrow channels and push the light assembly in place. Now turn the lever tool pulling the light assembly in place, here's the tricky part, you need to turn it hard enough to hear a loud click. It almost seems like you're going to break something, but then it clicks. You may want to gently push on the light assembly as you do this. This tells you the lamp assembly is now locked back in place. Good luck.
