2004 lincoln ls keys wont program to cluster
OUCH! Electrical problems are a B but maybe this will help. It seems to me that I was looking at switching out the multifunction switch on a 2000 Park Avenue or an ignition switch on some vehicle but I was advised by my local, friendly, and knowledgeable auto wrecker that it was highly likely I would have problems with the car starting, turning on, or something like that because of the vehicle's security system set up. So, being as it was my wife's car I just got divorced instead and she traded it and the cash I had to give her for a Hummer. Haha, just trying to lighten things up a bit for you. Anyway, short solution long is that you might want to see if getting the related security items (steering column? ignition and/or multifunction switches, computer stuff, PCM) and who knows what else, from the same LS that you got the dash. Still a pretty ugly situation and I have NO IDEA why my junk car guy would know this yet neither your mechanic nor the Ford Motor company. Ha, I think I would call the Corporate offices and complain until you get to the design people who should know the answer to your problem. Maybe that's the way to go!
Where is the engine fan relay located on 2000 lincoln ls v6
There is no relay on the cooling fan circuit.
If the cooling fan is not operating, check fuse #105 (20 AMP), in the underhood junction box, right front of engine compartment.
If fuse is good then test to make sure fan is getting power.
If no power then could be bad cylinder head temperature sensor, hydraulic fan solenoid, a/c cycle switch or the PCM.
If it has power but doesn't come on then fan motor is bad.
Oil in 2000 lincoln ls is 4 quarts low after only
Hi!!
This noise can mean bad news, but, let's not panic and try something.
Some times when oil level gets too low, the lifters discharge and valves start making a quick knocking noise that doesn't quit even if the oil level is normal.
and increases when you step on the gas.
This happened to my friend's car and fix the problem adding a Valve Quiet oil additive, in a couple of minutes the noise was gone.
If this is not the noise you are hearing, take it to a mechanic shop for repair, preferably on a Tow Truck, because the more you run the engine, the more damage you can cause to it.
Good Luck

Why did ABS/traction ctl lights come on same time?
"Why did ABS/traction control lights come on same time?"
They came on simultaneously because a component needed to operate both systems has failed. When these warnings appear it is normal for both systems to be shut down so you have no anti lock brake system in operation (to prevent you locking your wheels up in heavy braking) and no traction control either.
You need to have the system scanned with a scan tool capable of reading the fault codes for those systems. That will provide a guide to assist in diagnosis of the cause. It may just be a wheel speed sensor that has failed and needs to be replaced which is a common repair, a wiring fault or something more significant.
Which fuses go where and for what on a 2000 lincoin ls
You have to have your owners manual on a Ford to tell what goes where. They were not smart enough to print it on the cover like Chevrolet and Chrysler does. You might be able to find and image by Googling it though.
How do I bleed the cooling system?
Turn the heat control to max and remove radiator cap - add coolant as much as possible. Make sure overflow container is filled to correct level - then Start car and run - after the thermostat opens water level may go down some - keep adding coolant till it is totally full. Turn engine off and put radiator cap back on tight.
