You will not be able to get all the coolant out of the engine, unless you do a thorough engine drain and flush. If you only plan on draining the radiator, you will need less than 2 gallons mixed total to refill it, since some coolant will remain in the engine block and heater core.

any motor that uses brushes, if the brushes get worn, the motor may work intermittently. if that is your problem, replace blower motor. Could be other issues like voltage or ground circuits. just my opinion.

The transmission control module is responsible for correct shifting of transmission.it is on side of tranny. the throttle position sensor takes all the necessary measurements and sends it over to the Electronic Control Module on transmission to make it shift, if its ok! Try by changing the shift module on transmission. If this will not work check or change the TPS and check for a bad wire also. Hope this helps you out! God-Bless!

Why do you want to change the rack and plnion? The rack and pinion is designed to last the life of the vehicle. It is however possible that something does go wrong, and in this event a COMPETENT person should check it over. It is a safety risk. It seems the guy you took it to is NOT.

Have you done a load test on the battery.The starter need a lot of cranking amps to turn the motor.

Bottom of radiator tank at the rear of the tank, it is most often on the driver's side, you need to go under the car to see the drain valve. I don't do it that way, I just remove the lower radiator hose from the lower radiator hose nipple to drain the coolant.

normally this would be noticed by bad performance in the car in the way the engine acts when you push on the gas peddle normally a fuel pump needs two things to work the relay and the fuse if either two stops working you may notice decreased performance of the car's engine or that it refuses to run at all

sounds like you need to replace the timing belt and possibly need to have the cylinder head repaired if it bent the valves, put the belt first and if it doesn't have compression then you'll need to have the head repaired

try using a fuel system cleaner. fill tank with gas and add to full tank. run car for an hour on freeway (roundtrip)....it should run smoother. some gas has water in it and a fuel system cleaner should re-dissolve the water into the gas. sounds like a fuel-dlivery problem, dirty fuel filter, or moisture in the fuel/fuel-line.
