Have a fault code test run and see if a VSS fault code shows up, if the transmission shifts ok (auto) then you will likely have no fault code. If no fault code is present then the cluster is defective and you will need to remove it and have it repaired.

sound probably i timing fault, do you have an engine warning light on. as it could be something else but if no light on it could bet the timing belt/chain. would not keep driving if the belt is gone as it will damage the engine. if light is on then you can use a ecu reader to find the faults.

Check belt tensioner adjustment. Spray WD 40 on belts and pulleys and start. If no fix .it is most likely the rear bearings on the alt. before you buy a new one shoot some WD in the rear of the alt through the slits to the shaft. No fix take it to your local chain parts store and they will check it for free. Mike

What I do is go by miles per gallon and fill the tank when I've driven enough for it to drop. As long as the odometer works it's all good. You can fix it if you want to go to the trouble. It's either a bad card in the tank module or a resistor fell off in the instrument panel. Panels can be refluxed just like motherboards by tossing it in the oven for a few seconds. Tank modules have to be replaced.

You need to run an engine control module scan for fault codes Known as an OBD2 fault code test.. Autozone and others do this for free. If no fault show then hook up a test fuel gage the next time it stalls and see if maybe the fuel pump is failing.

I don't know but if the original fault caused a fault code it is possible the code must be cleared before it will start. Switch under the clutch pedal could be a safety device preventing starting unless the pedal is depressed in common with some other cars of Asian manufacture.

Maybe fuel pump switch? If it has one its usually located in trunk behind carpet on one side or the other.

window regulators may be bad or motors are shot, check and replace.

I've had similar issues. The fix I used was to take my vehicle to AAMCO and let them run a diagnostic check. Most often it will be at little or no cost and, if you don't want to mess with the fix anymore, they can fix it onsite.

Do you have a 4 wheel drive, is it in 4 wheel drive and are you driving on dry roads? Very very bad for the 4 wheel drive transfer case. If not, it could be the CV joints, the engine, the transmission, very bad Gasoline. If it's during braking then it's the Anti-lock brake system engaging when it's not supposed to.
