Engine dies when you turn on the aircon or the heater
run engine press on gas pedal slightly to add more rpm turn on ac if engine stops or squels there is problem with ac comp, if engine still run check plugs if fouled clean or replace, engine rpm should be at least 600-700 rpm at idle speed
Engine dies when you turn on the air con or the heater
What tests have you run so far? Have there been any recent repairs or services? Has the engine light come on recently, at all? There are two areas that you should take a look at. First take a look at the charging system. What is the alternator charging at before you turn the climate control, blower motor on and what is it at, after you turn it on? If you notice anything strange with it undercharging or overcharging. Have the alternator removed and bench tested. These alternators are known to fail, once in a while, with an AC voltage leak. which can affect the engine performance. There also could be another reason why your engine is dieing. Look at the maintenance history and see when the last complete tune-up was. The ECU increases the engines RPMs if there is an additional load added to the engine. When you turn the blower on their is a signal sent to the ECU that more fuel is needed to compensate for the new load. If one of the many sensors, valves, or solenoids fail to read correctly or move at the right speed, It will cause issues. Sometimes this will trigger the engine light but not always. Look at everything, Coolant temperature, vacuum lines, TAC unit, and the MAF sensor. If the MAF sensor is covered with filth then that too will affect engine performance. If you remove the MAF sensor "Do no touch the internal sensors. It will ruin it" You can spray the MAF sensor with MAF sensor cleaner and let it air dry (no compressed air, that too will ruin the sensor). This is a good amount of information to start with. If you want more specific information just write back and let me know. I'd like to hear about your progress, so let me know, good luck.
Car won't turn over had the battery replaced but still having problems usually in cold weather but not all the time?
I'm assuming that you mean the engine will not turn when you turn the key versus turning but not starting. If it wont turn over, first check the battery even though its new it could be discharged or bad. I have had new batteries that were bad, besides its the easiest thing to check. If the battery is good then remove the battery wires and clean them and reinstall good and tight. then follow the ground wire back to where it attaches to the engine make sure it is clean and then do the same for the positive wire back under to the starter. If none of this gets it going then remove the starter and take it into a parts store where they can bench test it. I'm guessing your starter is dragging and needs replaced.
Brake lights don't work
Most likely cause is a blown fuse in the fuse box. Your drivers manual should have a diagram of what fuses control the break lights.
Wipers don't grip rear window
Wiper arms are much neglected for a part that does such hard work. There are 3 main parts, the rubber, the rubber holder which is actually also a sort of spring, and then the arm with its strong spring.
Try replacing the rubber and holder as an assembly which clips onto the end of the arm. This is the most cost-efficient maintenance you can do, and should make a big difference.
The arm and spring can be replaced by undoing a nut under the cover at the top of the wiper arm spindle, but this is far less often needed.
Lifter noise
Go to your local auto part store and ask for a motor flush.
Follow the instruction on can.
Do an oil and filter change afterward.
Engine cuts off when i turn on a/c or defrost at idle
Ac puts extra drag on the engine. Defroster also turns on the AC to remove moisture from windows. Sounds like your idle speed is too low. On some cars the computer compensates for the added drag by increasing engine idle. I would start with a tune up. If the check engine light is on you can get the codes read for free at a large chain auto parts store. This will tell you if components are bad
Growling noise
The bearing are nt working wel.it beta u change the hobb completely.
