A wire or connection is getting shorted during installation and reinstallation

It could be that your fuel filter is partially plugged. You'll find the filter under the right rear plastic inner fender.

Does it leak while driving or setting? If setting then let it set and when it leaks , find the source. Best to have a lift. Run it on the lift to see where the leak is if driving. Make sure it is not a line or the breather tube on top.

Should be under hood,in fuse panel box,driver side.

Can not comment about the locked doors condition but sometimes a shorted battery will cause the alarm system to trip.

if is a slow leak and you don't hear a load hissing is ok! replace any hose that you think needs replacement, on top of that check your radiator hoses for swelling ,if the car is leaking water each time you drive the car your risking the engine to blow a head gasket so I would fix the problem right away....

Have you had exhaust system back pressure tested ? Plugged catalytic converter ?

No quick fix. If you are lucky, it is just the flexplate snapped loose from the torque converter. There is usually a door that you take off to access the 4 bolts that hold the flex plate to the converter. Remove that door to see if the bolts have sheared off.

All the components you mentioned have control modules that you have likely burned out from the reverse hook up of the battery.
