stick shift is not standard
a/t is 90% now and is the standard. sure old skool jargon,.
ive done this for over 50 years.
on modern cars have a hidden well fuel pump power switch.
better only matters in the
HIDE word(and safety)
they can steal any car, wenched up to any tilt flat bad.
on distrib cars,id go on a very long job field trips
and pull the distributor rotor'
the ways are
- fuel pump sw
- spark sw
- battery disconnect switch and hood locks.
- sure starter kill but I can push start mine and hill gravity start it.
the pump kill wins,,because no flooding and fires,
if you kill spark the bad guys then flood engine, can be horrid flood of raw fuel. dripping from exhaust ports.
pump is
win win.
i have super super hidden switch, magnetic,
no man can find ,short of total car take down;l!!
its a key with magnet inside, and hidden hole in carpet/body,
if only needed for long trips in parking lot
even more hidden, is ok.
just pretend you bad guy and he will find a more easy car.
and give up.
even a lashing led in car scares them.
and an extra hood lock so horns can not be silenced or battery cables jerked.
keep in mind, step 1 of thieves is to break the side window
and pop hood.
key to cure is hood locks real.
one car of mine the A$$, ripped whole dash off car in minutes
dang.
