97 Jeep Wrangler Squealing LOUD!

The only thing I can think of is that the belt needs tightening. Check all the pulleys, sometimes if there are glazed it will give you the same problem. The misfire could be a bad ignition wire or a wire that got wet.

2005 Jeep Wrangler is starting without pushing in

the clutch start switch is the most likely problem. it is just a switch that closes once the pedal is depressed and allows the starter to turn over. it is a safety feature, so that if the car is in gear and you hit the key, it doesn't take off on you.

Heater only blowing out defrost vents

Open your hood and find a "T" connector right near the battery. Follow the line down below the battery (you will have to get under the Jeep). You will see that the line plugs into a 3 to 4 inch section of 3/16" tubing that is plugged onto a black in color, plastic box. Use a razor knife and trim off about 1/2" of this 3/16" tubing as it commonly cracks where it fits on the nipple of the black plastic box. The vacuum cannot build pressure properly with these cracks in this tubing, and therefore cause the selector door to malfunction when operating heat and a/c. It is a quick and easy five minute fix.

If the heater only works on the high setting, your problem is the heater fan resistor, not the relay.

Horn not working. Fuse is good. 2005 Jeep

May be bad horn. Get a 12 volt test light or multi-meter and attach to the horn wire at the horn. Have a helper press the horn. If you have 12 volts when it is pressed, horn itself is bad. Otherwise, may be bad horn relay. Horn cover should pull off.
