95 honda accord dx with 2.2 non vtec won't stay
Hello
You say you checked the ignition switch, you are 100% sure that isn't the problem? this year and indeed most 1990's Honda"s has a problem with the electrical contacts in the ignition starter switch, the symptom is the car will run until the key is released to the run position or the engine just stalls for no reason, the switch is very easy to replace and I bet is your problem, just remove the sterring column covers, they are a **** shell cover the screws are recessed on the bottom of the cover, Honda doesn't sell the switch seperately from the key cylinder buy it is sold in the after market, here is a price and picture of the part.

95 accord error code check engine code 21
This code is for a V-Tec valve control failure, which is why it doesn't come on until you hit 4200rpm. That's when the system activates. Check your connections at the V-tec solenoid/valve on the back of the head. You'll likely see it leaking quite a bit of oil leaking down the back of the engine from it. Don't bother messing with it, replace it. And don't use any kind of additives in your oil. (Slick 50, etc) These products notoriously clog the V-Tec valves. Good luck!
