1993 Subaru Legacy - Page 5 Questions & Answers
Running hot
You could be low on antifreeze, bad water pump, bad thermostat or a collapsed hose. Assuming you do have plenty of antifreeze and hoses are in good shape, do you have good heat inside the car? When car is still warming up open the radiator cap and visually see if antifreeze is circulating. If it's not you can remove the thermostat and then check if you have circulation. If yes then replace the thermostat, if no then replace water pump. That's how I troubleshoot old school cooling systems.

My 1993 Subaru Legacy L has a sticky gas pedal,
I would start by looking at the linkage under the hood...making sure that it is not being bound up by anything...make sure the cable that goes down to the pedal from the tbi/carb is free if nicks and does not have any holes in it or where the insulation has maybe rubbed off..if you do find the cable has damage, then I would recommend replacing at once for safe operation
